Lushpad.com is an online web application aimed at connecting buyers and sellers of modern mid century art. Emphasis is put on tracing the origin of a particular piece of art through a set of attributes implemented for each piece (artist, designer or manufacturer match up), as well as alerting the buyer about new interesting pieces listed in the system (a set of email alerts is implemented). Each listing is paid for through payment systems integrated in the site and the admin has at his disposal a comprehensive CMS component to manage all activity on the site. Through the implementation of the wordpress blogging engine, the site owners can write blog posts and articles thus providing useful information about the site’s activity Technology: php/mysql/ajax, payment gateways integration (Paypal and Beanstream Canada), mail alerts system, CMS functionality, CSV export, SEO optimization (apache mod-rewrite), discount codes system
